It is with a heavy heart and through much deliberation that I have made the decision to take hiatus from operating Ale Ways indefinitely.
4 years ago, Ale Ways was spawned from a deep seeded desire to make an indelible impact helping grow Salem's craft beer community. Today, Salem's craft beer scene has grown into something more incredible than I ever could have imagined, something much greater than one guy with a weekend job operating a beer bus can wrangle. The daily challenges of growing this business, coupled with elevated responsibilities at the day job, have proportionally increased my personal sacrifices to a point which is more than I can continue to bear at this time. It's time to take a step back and breathe a little, indulge in some recreation and reflection.
To the hundreds of incredible individuals and countless friends who supported my vision along the way, you all have truly given me the satisfaction of making a difference in the community, and I'm forever in your debt. You are Salem's beer community and it's You who are collectively responsible for the awesomeness that Salem has become. As I look forward to new and exciting prospects in the next chapter of life, I expect to see you all there, and remember
